Tapp Water was founded in 2014 in Barcelona by retired engineer Magnus Jern (Sweden), and his team of Alexander Schwarz (Germany), Rocio Alcocer (Spain) and Jeff Cardelli (Luxembourg).

Their core objective from the very start was to give people access
to pure and healthy drinking water at home,
while also reducing detrimental plastic waste.

Initially the products were tested and used in Spain, but they quickly made their way to the UK, the United States, and the Caribbean,
with over 30 countries now partnered,
as consumers continue to benefit from and
agree with our sustainable mission.
About Tapp Water Canada: Our Mission to Reduce Single-Use Plastics

After starting Tapp Water in the Caribbean, Chris and Paolo of Espo Water decided to bring the Tapp Water products to their home and native land. With a combined 50 years experience in the construction and hospitality industries, they know firsthand the pollutants that currently can exist in our tap water.

Their great relationship with Magnus and the Tapp Water team, as well as their personal experience with Tapp Water products convinced them that Canada would be a great place to embrace the Tapp Water mission.

Our mission:
DRIVE CHANGE
Canadians throw away over 3 million tonnes of plastic waste each year.

Only about 9% of plastic waste in Canada is recycled. The rest pollutes our waterways, landfills, and natural environments. Yuck!
With the longest coastline in the world and containing one-quarter of the world's freshwater, we have an incredible responsibility!*
